Challenge: [Basketball Drills]

Goal

To build an algorithm (a process or set of rules) to move through all 1 to 8 grid squares in sequential order. The VR Robot would move to 1, go back to start, move to 2, go back to start then continue this pattern for all 8 grid squares.

I learned the initial ways of movement and rotation in order to accomplish my overall goal.

Challenge: [Draw a House]

Goal

To program the VR Robot to draw a house on the Art Canvas using the Pen block. Using a square for the house and triangle for the roof. A square garage added to the side

My Solution

What I Learned

I learned how to utilize movement and use the pen tool to draw and move in the pattern of shapes as well as learning to utilize the C-blocks such as the repeat block.

Challenge: [Wall Maze with Bumpers]

Goal

The robot would navigate the wall maze from start to finish while using bumper sensors to signal when to stop driving.

My Solution

What I Learned

I learned how to use Sensing blocks in sequences involving movement and how to properly use them to achieve my goal.

Challenge: [Wall Maze with Distance Sensors]

Goal

The robot would navigate the wall maze from start to finish while using distance sensors to signal when to stop driving depending on the distance away from a wall.

My Solution

What I Learned

I learned how to use the distance sensor to send a message to the “stop driving” block depending on how far the distance is set.
